HR Manager – Technology Group (Colmore Row, Birmingham)

On-site 3–4 days | Optional 1 day WFH

Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 + up to 15 % bonus


The company

My client are a team of 500+, private-equity-backed technology group delivering cloud-connectivity and data-centre solutions to FTSE 250 customers. With new investment and a European acquisition pipeline, we need a hands-on HR Manager who can turn strategy into day-to-day reality and keep pace with our growth.


What you’ll do

  • Partner with the Head of People and site leaders to translate the group people strategy into local action plans.
  • Lead and coach a small team (3 HR Business Partners / Advisors) across three UK locations.
  • Guide managers through ER, performance and talent-development conversations and run complex cases when they arise.
  • Own the annual reward and bonus cycle, providing insight and data to senior leadership.
  • Drive onboarding, engagement and culture-integration programmes for new acquisitions.
  • Produce monthly HR dashboards and present people insights to the SLT.
  • Manage UK governance, policy updates and TUPE processes with external counsel support.


What you’ll bring

  • CIPD Level 5 (or working toward Level 7) and a solid HR generalist record in tech, SaaS or telco.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, TUPE and ER best practice.
  • Experience partnering senior stakeholders in fast-moving, ideally PE-backed, environments.
  • Confidence with data—comfortable turning HR metrics into clear business cases.
  • The ability to balance strategic projects with roll-your-sleeves-up operational work.
